今天看到這一生，至少當一次傻瓜 - 木村阿公的奇蹟蘋果裡節錄的一篇泰戈爾的文章，很喜歡。

Let me not pray to be sheltered from dangers but to be fearless in facing them.

我不祈禱在險惡中獲得庇護，讓我祈禱可以勇敢的面對他們；

Let me not beg for the stilling of my pain but for the heart to conquer it.

我不要祈求痛苦停止，讓我祈求我的心可以戰勝他們；

Let me not look for allies in life’s battlefield but to my own strength.

在人生戰場上我不盼望盟友，而是發現自己的力量。

Let me not crave in anxious fear to be saved but hope for the patience to win my freedom.

我不要在不安和恐懼中渴望救助，讓我祈願我的堅韌可以贏得自由。

Great me that I may not be a coward, feeling your mercy in my success alone；but let me find the grasp of your hand in my failure.

我雖是一個弱者，只在成功中感覺到你的仁慈，但請讓我在失意時發現你緊握住我的手。
